Family Worker

Join our team at DoCCFS to provide family support to youth and families in Dublin. Relevant degree and 3+ years’ experience required.

The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a not for profit public service organisation. We provide a range of therapeutic supportive services to children and families, based in the greater Dublin region. The Service works in collaboration with TUSLA Child and Family Agency local areas in Dublin North and North City, East and Dublin Mid Leinster. 

Our Services include an Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS), Family Centre Service, Dublin Safer Families Service and Assessment Services.  

The successful candidate will have proven and demonstrable experience providing quality services to under-18-year-old clients, and their families/guardians, in accordance with best evidence-based practice in the area of drug/alcohol assessment, care planning, case management and service provision (e.g. therapy, workshops, other interactions). 

The successful candidate will:  

  • Have a relevant third level qualification to degree standard 
  • Have 3 years relevant work experience in a similar position 
  • Demonstrate experience engaging and supporting young people and ensuring their engagement in their own plan

A full valid driving licence is required. The post will be based in Jobstown but there will be a degree of flexible working available. 

The salary will range from €37,383 – 53,080
