Provide support & oversight in respect of safeguarding.


  • Reporting to the Director, developing a strategic plan on vulnerable adult safeguarding and protection within the Archdiocese of Dublin;
  • Along with other team members design, develop and deliver training to personnel in the Diocese, parishes and agencies who are responsible vulnerable adult safeguarding and protection;
  • Working with the safeguarding team to facilitate those who come forward to make complaints of child and vulnerable abuse within the Archdiocese;
  • Managing cases involving allegation of abuse of children or vulnerable adults by diocesan personnel.
