Since 2005, Training Networks involved in the Training Links programme have had great success in upskilling their workers. Training Links funds and supports charity and community sector workers to upskill and retrain in a range of areas. Check out these stories from The Home Visiting Alliance Training Network and The Digitalisation in Volunteering Network to learn more.

The Home Visiting Alliance Training Network

The Home Visiting Alliance Training Network delivered skills development opportunities to home-visiting staff that are responsive to the changing and diverse needs of Home Visitors, families, society, and the economy. This included a strong mix of transversal interdisciplinary skills i.e., trauma-informed, soft, transferable, and employability skills, particularly empathy, communications, resilience, creativity, and problem-solving. The Digitalisation in Volunteering Network

The Digitalisation in Volunteering Network was made up of 10 volunteer centres from across Ireland. They developed a training programme to digitalise volunteering by empowering centre staff with knowledge about emerging technologies.  Learn about their successes and challenges here.
