Brian joined The Wheel in 2016. He has over ten years’ experience in the not Brian Walsh

-for-profit sector. In that time he has worked with a large service provider and built up experience in management and fundraising.

He has also worked with charities as a volunteer and in data analysis.

As Business Development Officer he supports the growth of The Wheel's services to members, manages relationships with suppliers and manages ResourcePoint, The Wheels affinity programme for members. Brian holds a B.A. from NUI Maynooth, and a Higher Diploma in Organisational Behaviour from the Irish Management Institute.

Speakers: David Muldoon, UNICEF & Amy Power, 2into3

David Muldoon has over ten years’ experience in various fundraising roles spanning national, local and international charities including the ISPCC, Irish David Muldoon

Heart Foundation and COPE Galway.

He currently leads the UNICEF corporate partnerships department in Ireland. UNICEF is a leading humanitarian and development agency working globally for the rights of every child.

UNICEF work closely with multi-national corporations, national companies and small- to medium-sized businesses to identify, design and implement alliances that leverage the strengths of the corporate sector on behalf of the world’s children.

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master’s in Business Studies from the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Amy Power is a Consultant with 2into3, working with clients in a range of sectors to develop their fundraising strategies. Amy also conducts research into fundraising performance in Ireland. Amy is an Associate Member of the Institute of Management Consultants and Advisers.

Prior to joining 2into3, Amy gained extensive experience within the not-for-profit sector. Amy also worked with a number of government departments, supporting the incorporation of an ‘evidence-informed approach’ into policy and practice.

Amy is Co-Author of the The Irish Not-for-Profit Sector: Fundraising Performance Report 2017.

Amy received a BSocSc (Hons) at NUI Maynooth, followed by an M.Sc. in Criminology at Queen’s University Belfast.
