Question
Hi there,
My colleague and I run an art education programme for which we have so far received Arts Council funding. In order to proceed with our forthcoming round of funding we are required to register as an organisation with the following items:
- tax/charity number
- tax clearance cert
- memorandum of assocation
- article of association
- bank account
We are therefore researching the process of setting up as a charity/non-profit. I have read some of the information on the wheel website including http://www.wheel.ie/sites/default/files/Forming%20a%20charity%20%282%29.pdf.
This has been very useful but was wondering if it is possible to not be a limited company and to still have articles of association and a memorandum of association? We would prefer to remain incorporated at this early stage.
Thanks!
Cleo
