In this interactive session, you will learn some of the basic steps involved in strategic planning, and gain practical information and tools to build your confidence in leading strategic planning within your organisation.

In particular, this workshop will cover:

• Ensuring your purpose and mission reflect your organisation today – and tomorrow
• Building on successes and learning from mistakes
• Identifying opportunities and risks
• Setting evidence-based goals and priorities aligned with your mission
• The supporting information that will help ensure that your Strategic Plan gets implemented.

This workshop is for everyone: whether you’ve never been involved in strategic planning before, whether you’re looking for a refresher, or whether you’re looking for inspiration to update your organisation’s current process.

No advance preparation is necessary, but participants may want to reflect on their organisation’s purpose and mission, and also on their organisation’s recent performance or the challenges that it is facing.
