Course details:

Irish charities / nonprofits are used to finding themselves under intense scrutiny in the public and media eye. However, following the recent enactment of the Companies Act 2014 and Charities Act 2009, it is not only desireable - but is, in fact, imperative that all non-profit leaders / managers / trustees are fully up to speed with the updated mandatory legal responsibilities of Company Secretaries and Directors that both of these acts affected.

It is for this reason that the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and The Wheel) have come together to present this innovative collaborative workshop, which has been specifically developed to provide attendees with CPD accredited training on the legal responsibilities & duties of the Company Secretary and Directors of Irish corporate charities.

This is a detailed, practically focussed session on the role and responsibilities of the Company Secretary, within the context of the developments brought about by the Companies Act 2014 and the Charites Act 2009.
