The GDPR, which comes to effect on 25 May, 2018,  raises challenges for Charities at the executive level and at the front-line. It will require organisations of all types to review their management of data about people.

However, the GDPR also brings opportunities for organisations to improve how they manage information and improve efficiencies.

Ensuring that your organisation is adhering to current data protection laws and best practices is a crucial element when it comes to protecting yourself from potentially risky outcomes.

The workshop will provide attendees with a high level overview of Data Protection Legislation and a clear understanding of their obligations.
The workshop will also walk the participants through:
  • Understanding the GDPR from a strategic perspective
  • Understanding the key changes in the GDPR

  • Understanding what you need to do to make the GDPR work for your organisation.
