Course details: 

This last in the series of 4 linked forum sessions, in association Adare HRM, will take you on a practical journey through an employee's lifecycle, from recruitment through performance management to termination of employment. The forum will also give participants an opportunity for discussion, networking and support.

The fourth in our HR series, this practical forum session will give you a strong understanding of the often complicated and contentious issue of termination of employment.
 
This important session will show you the right way to go about taking this very serious step and will provide you with a strong understanding of all relevant legislation and best practice regarding termination of contracts of employment and all the procedures involved.

This is the right way to ensure that you know how to protect you and your nonprofit from the potential risk that termination may create.

Derek McKay

Derek McKay BBS, Chartered MCIPD, Managing Director of Adare Human Resource Management is well known for his work within the Sector and is also a regular speaker at events for member organisations within the Community & Voluntary / Charity / Not for Profit sector.

Derek’s role involves overseeing the HR and Employment Law support services provided to clients across a wide range of sectors by the team of consultants within Adare Human Resource Management.

 

Tom McDonagh

Tom McDonagh, Senior HR & Employment Law Consultant, is an experienced Human Resource and Employment Law practitioner. 

Prior to joining Adare Human Resource Management, Tom worked with Organisations in the Financial & Professional Services area, including EY (formerly known as Ernst & Young) and State Street Bank. Tom has a wide variety of practical experience across all areas of Human Resource Management and Employment Law.
