Urgent Fraud Alert: B2B List Scam
The Wheel would like to alert all members to a recent scam involving individuals pretending to sell B2B leads and contact lists. One of the scam emails mentioned the Wheel - nonprofit organisations (sic). These scammers are posing as legitimate vendors, offering business leads at discounted rates.
Please be informed that there is no data breach at The Wheel, the emails are not from The Wheel and we are not selling any list or leads. Please be advised that this is a fraudulent scheme designed to steal your information or money.
We urge all members to remain cautious and avoid engaging with any unsolicited offers for B2B leads or lists. If you are approached via email by anyone offering such services, do not provide any personal or financial information.
