A series of Friendship Cafes in Cork City Library

Posted on 15 Aug 2024

SERVE is pleased to co-host a series of Friendship Cafes over the next few months with Think Speak Do Community Engagement.

Friendship Cafe is a welcoming social space where people from all community backgrounds can share their experience and ideas.

There will be a different theme at each Friendship Cafe. Everyone’s invited for casual chats. There will be light refreshments.

The first Friendship Cafe in this series will be held on:

Sat 21st Sept @ 2:30pm in Cork City Library

Theme: Food

Guests are Cork Zero Waste (volunteer group dedicated to sustainability) & Anna Juda (Graduate Engineer who will speak about community cooking experience).

This is a family friendly event, so caregivers with smallies are invited to join the conversation. There will be few toys and colouring pages for the children.

Looking forward to meeting you there. You can see the full schedule here: https://serve.ie/friendship-cafe-in-cork/
