International Literacy Day event - Dublin, 7 Sept
You are invited to a free conference on plain English and how organisations can communicate more effectively with the public to mark International Literacy Day.
The conference will take place on Friday 7 September in The National College of Ireland in Dublin.
Cost: There is no fee for attending this conference.
Speakers on the day include:
- Attorney General, Séamus Woulfe
- representative from the Data Protection Commission,
- representative from the Office of the Ombudsman,
- representative from the ETB Adult Literacy Service
- plain English experts.
These speakers will be relevant to your work. Moreover, you can take part in a workshop on plain English or writing for the web in the afternoon.
