Exciting News: PayPal Giving Fund Ireland Announces Launch of Small Charities Campaign #OneTapBigImpact
Inclusion is one of PayPal Giving Fund Ireland’s key pillars, which aims at supporting the sector fairly from high profile charities to smaller or local charities and help raise much needed funds. With that in mind, PayPal Giving Fund Ireland has announced the launch of the second edition of its Small Charities Campaign #OneTapBigImpact.
The annual campaign aims to bring awareness to the needs of small charities as they navigate difficult economic times with increased requirements and limited budgets.
The campaign centres around Give at Checkout, a seamless way for people to donate to support their charity of their choice via PayPal. All they need to do is set a charity as their favourite (SFC), choosing to add a small donation of €1 to purchases when they checkout with PayPal.
PayPal Giving Fund Ireland is also running a competition encouraging supporters to set a small charity as their favourite with Give at Checkout via PayPal.
If you’re a small charity you can register your interest here to take part in the competition during the registration period between 6 – 11 July.
Eligible charities will be notified following the registration period and will be encouraged during the competition period (15th of July – 30th of September) to inform their supporters on how to set them as a favourite. The winners will be charities in receipt of the first SFC donations up to a maximum amount €15,000 during the competition period.
Help a small charity make a big impact.

About PayPal Giving Fund
PayPal Giving Fund aims to inspire a new wave of philanthropy, harnessing the power of technology to make giving part of everyday life. They pursue this vision by developing innovative programs that introduce charitable giving in relevant and engaging ways to new audiences.
Through their partnerships, they make it easy for donors to support the charities they care about on the websites and apps they use every day. In doing so, they enable charities to forge relationships with new supporters, and benefit from new sources of unrestricted funds.
In all that they do, they strive to innovate – to provide more opportunities to give, engage more donors, improve the user experience, and raise more funds. They provide donation and donor reports, issue tax receipts, distribute grants, and handle registration requirements — all without charging charities for their services.
