Join Our Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS) Team!

We are seeking passionate and dedicated educators to nurture and support the growth and development of children in our care. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to creating a stimulating, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Education Delivery

• Design and deliver educational programs aligned with Aistear and Siolta standards.
• Leverage the High Scope approach to enhance children’s learning and development (if applicable).

Child Development

• Facilitate holistic development through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Cultivate a nurturing and stimulating environment that sparks curiosity and learning.

Documentation and Evaluation

• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of children’s progress and activities.
• Evaluate the success of educational programs using established tools and methods.
• Manage records and reports efficiently using software such as Salesforce.

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with the ECDS Manager and team to ensure a cohesive approach to child development.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

• FETAC/QQI Level 5/6 qualification in childcare or a related field.
• Experience delivering education aligned with Aistear and Siolta standards.
• Experience assessing the outcomes of educational programs and activities.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with the High Scope approach.
• Proficiency with record-keeping tools, such as Salesforce.

Salary and Hours

• Salary: €16 per hour
• Hours: Morning or Afternoon (15 hours per week)
