What is your goal?
Our mission is to provide the sport of badminton with a safe, life-long, and family-friendly environment where all players and volunteers can enjoy and experience an exciting sport and realise their potential.
Our core values are common purpose in line with our mission, fairness in our dealings with each other, and effective communications and trust amongst us.
Our strategic plan is designed to promote our mission through a set of programmes that address the on-court and administration aspects of our sport, our core values, and the programmes that we run for our members.

Additionally, Badminton Ireland began to host webinars on various topics covering coaching, Women in Sport, Teicnic Badminton, sports psychology and nutrition, HP sport performance, and Sport inclusion & Disability awareness online workshop.
Badminton Ireland also offered some online fitness & yoga classes.

The Wheel also helps our organization be on track and up to date when it comes to other nonprofit organizations, charities, and what has happened or changed in this sector.
How can people support you?
People can support us by promoting badminton and taking part in its initiatives such as school programmes, teicnic camps, coaching courses, or taking a role as a volunteer. This way, we can build and create the next generation of badminton players and the community around it together.
Do you have any success stories to share?
Badminton Ireland hosted a Graded International Event that gave a chance to non-elite players to compete on an international stage comparable in setup to an international circuit event. The initiative was a success, with 82 players from England, Scotland, and Wales coming to Dublin in 2019 to compete in the team event. The event is due to continue in the future, with the event being rotated between countries.

This programme is also aimed at increasing participation amongst the school children age group.

Badminton Ireland recently celebrated its 120th Anniversary in success and a big celebration. The night was dedicated to all volunteers, players, coaches, parents, and everyone involved in the badminton scene.
