Midlands Polish Community is an association which was established to support integration and cooperation among local Polish individuals, entrepreneurs and organisations as well as Polish-Irish integration and cooperation in Midlands. It aims to create grounds for intellectual, psychological, artistic and physical development in the communities, to support eco-friendly movements, animal welfare and charity works.

What is your goal?
Midlands Polish Community is an association which was established to support Polish-Irish integration and cooperation in our localities, to help and support our communities throught social and cultural engagement as well as other charitable purposes.
How have you been working towards it?
By cooperating with many stakeholders, other organisations and institutions in Ireland and abroad and by organising different project to support our communities.
How has being a member of The Wheel helped?
Thanks to consistent and accurate information and newsletters received from The Wheel were are able to be up to date with all relevant regulatory, training and funding information which help to continue with our works.

Do you have any success stories to share?
Midlands Polish Community organised one of the biggest Polish-Irish cultural event in the last 20 years - we invited semi-professional Academy of Art Choir from Szczecin, Poland in 2019 for the mini Irish tour and two joint concerts with local Irish choirs and musicians in Longford and Limerick. Over 1000 people attended both performances.
