Membership of The Wheel has been a great benefit to us given that we are a relatively small organisation. We have been able to access training and find information about trends and changes in the nonprofit sector through The Wheel.
How can people support you?
You can support NiteLine Dublin in a number of ways:
- Help us spread the word: By following us on social media and sharing our posts, you can make sure that we reach students who need our support.
- Offer your time: If you are a current student of DBS, MU, NCAD, RCSI, TCD or UCD, you can give your time as either a call-taking volunteer or a publicity volunteer. We welcome students of all ages, areas of study and levels of study including postgraduates and mature students.

- Partner with us: Our partnerships with Reads Printing and MacUaid Enterprises enable us to reach students through posters, leaflets and our newly-updated website. If you would be interested in a nonprofit partnership, please contact us.
- Donate: Our application for charity status is currently pending. We look forward to accepting donations via our website once we are a registered charity.
Do you have any success stories to share?
"The help I have received tonight was completely unexpected... They helped me take my mind off the issue, and calmed me from my state of mind. They were honestly an angel and the greatest help I could have asked for tonight. "- a final year undergraduate student who had accessed our instant messaging support. NiteLine volunteers have taken 1117 contacts from students so far this academic year, over the phone or instant messaging. These conversations centred around topics such as loneliness, college, relationships, suicide, self-harm and Covid-19. Our volunteers are current students or recent graduates, and will be here 7 nights a week during term-time to continue supporting other students.
