Member Q&A

What is your goal?

Our mission is to ensure that the people of South Munster can access quality information, advice and advocacy services.

How have you been working towards it?

As a regional company covering the Cork and Kerry region, we have been working towards this over the past 3 years.  However, the CIS was established in some parts of our territory by volunteers as far back as 40 years ago.

How has being a member of The Wheel helped?

Training by the Wheel has been particularly valuable to the SMCIS.

How can people support you?

Citizens Information Centres provide free, impartial information, advice and advocacy. Use our website https://www.citizensinformation.ie for information, to locate your nearest centre or to request a call back.

The Citizens Information Phone Service is available on 0761 07 4000, Monday to Friday, 9am-8pm.
