Tramore Cliff and Waterford Mountain Rescue Association
The team is located in Tramore, Co. Waterford, Ireland. The team provides a 24/7 voluntary emergency Cliff and Mountain rescue service to the Coastal area of Waterford, the Mountains of Waterford, the Comeraghs and Knockmealdowns, and the newly opened Greenway.
The team is unique as the only Mountain rescue Tem based in Waterford and dedicated to Waterford’s Mountain Ranges.

What is your goal?
Provide a 24/7 emergency service for the Cliffs and Mountains of Tramore and Waterford.
How have you been working towards it?
We train and perform this goal on a daily basis.
How has being a member of The Wheel helped?
It has kept us informed with the Charity sector and how it develops.
How can people support you?
Like similar organisations we need to fundraise each year.
Do you have any success stories to share?
Each year we perform a number of rescues in the Mountains and on the Cliffs and we will to continue to do this. We have been performing rescues and savings lives since 1978 and we will always provide this important service for the people of Tramore and Waterford and its visitors.
