Eligible Groups Encouraged to Apply for Shared Spaces Funding under new PEACEPLUS Programme
Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, has encouraged eligible organisations in Northern Ireland and border counties of Ireland (Counties Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Louth, Monaghan and Sligo) to apply to the €75 million Re-imaging Communities investment area under the PEACEPLUS programme.
This investment area will support the creation of new builds, or alternatively the reimaging, regeneration or transformation of existing spaces, for shared usage. The new shared spaces will aim to bring together all communities, while having a transformative effect on the region, creating a lasting legacy within the communities they serve.
Applications must be received no later than 5pm on Thursday 7 September 2023. The SEUPB will not accept applications after this date.
