AkiDwA Research Launch: The Right to Work, 12 July
AkiDwA invites you and your colleagues to the launch of our research paper on the “Right to Work”. This research looks at women's experiences searching for work and working as an international protection applicant in Ireland.
The research explores the current legislation around working in Ireland and, most importantly, documents the experiences of women who are living in the direct provision system and have experience with employment.
At the launch, the researcher will present the research findings, and afterwards we will hear from a members of the community as well as a panel of representatives from civil service organisations and human rights advocates who will share their perspectives on this topic. This will surely be an engaging and thoughtful event.
This event will take place on Zoom on Tuesday, 12 July from 11am-12.30pm.
