HUGG Free Information Event - Finding Hope and Healing After Suicide, 15 June

HUGG, the national suicide bereavement charity, will host a FREE information event on Saturday, 15 June , ‘Finding Hope and Healing After Suicide’, from 1pm-3pm in the Avalon House Hotel, The Square, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny, R95 NA06. There is no need to register for this event, all are welcome. 

This event will be beneficial to anyone bereaved by suicide, whether you have experienced a bereavement in the last year or at an earlier time in your life. Also, if you are supporting someone bereaved by suicide, we encourage you to attend.

What to expect:

- 1pm doors open with refreshments, HUGG and other local support services will have information tables available to visit.

- 1.30pm Guest speaker Bryan Nolan, Grief and Loss specialist, will discuss the impact of suicide loss and grief and highlight ways to cope with your loss.

- 2.20pm A personal story of suicide loss will be shared, focusing on what was found supportive and helpful along their grief journey.

- 2.30pm HUGG will share information on its free suicide bereavement peer support groups.

Everyone is welcome to stay on for more compassionate conversations.

- 3pm the event will close
