SERVE opens applications to volunteer overseas in July 2025
Applications are now open to SERVE Overseas Volunteer Programme (July 2025).

Join the 2025 Volunteer Programme to contribute to community development on a global scale.
Highlights of our Volunteer Programme:
- The overseas project is only one piece of the Volunteer Programme.
- When you accept the placement you’re signing up to a seven month programme (training days and zoom info sessions)
- The seven month programme includes training days in Cork and online info session
- Emphasis on Global Citizenship Education (GCE)
- Creative work: blogs and SDG videos
- You are also required to attend one face to face debrief weekend
- Training usually begins in February

Fundraising:
The fundraising target will be specified to you from the outset of the programme. This covers the following:
- Pre-departure training
- Insurance
- Accommodation at your volunteer placement
- Flights to volunteer placement
- Grants for work with our overseas partners
- De-brief weekend 'Next Steps'
