SERVE Volunteer wins Global Citizen Award
Orlagh Henry volunteered in Mozambique shortly after Cyclone Idai in 2019 which devastated the country and caused the displacement of thousands of people. Orlagh saw firsthand the impact of climate change on the environment and the livelihoods of the communities she was immersed in.
Upon return to Ireland, Orlagh created a Climate Action podcast and facilitated a workshop with her local school via Zoom on SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production and the impact of Fast Fashion on our environment. Well done Orlagh for achieving her Global Citizen Award.
