Tackling Disinformation and Building Media Literacy

Tackling disinformation and building media literacy are topics that are not only important in the context of the EU and the upcoming European elections, but from a national perspective as our society is being fundamentally changed by technology. Honing our media literacy skills will enable us a sector to effectively communicate our priorities and ensure that we can identify accurate information for sharing with our communities and stakeholders.

Featuring a range of exciting speakers and perspectives, this interactive webinar will:

  • Look at best practices in engaging with digital media content
  • Provide media literacy skills for organisations engaging in policy and campaigning
  • Highlight practical examples of tackling disinformation
  • Explore resources and supports available.

This event is a collaboration between The Wheel and the European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland.
