Have you ever wondered if you could be getting more value from your membership of The Wheel? Join our membership team for a guided tour of the best The Wheel has to offer. Whether it’s ensuring the right information goes to the right people, sharing your exciting events with the widest audience or signposting you to cool content that will support your work, you’ve come to the right place.
By the end of this session, you’ll have increased awareness of member services, gained useful tips for managing your relationship with The Wheel, and hopefully have freed up your time to focus on your important work.
Specifically, we will explore:
- How to use your ‘my account page’ on Wheel.ie
- How to post on the community notice board and jobs board
- The value of joining our member networks
- Registering for training and events
- Learning more about key member services
We will also hear from one of our members about their membership journey.
This is a free event but registration is essential.

Meet Your Facilitators:
Johnny Sheehan is Membership and Regional Manager at The Wheel. The main focus of his work is to drive the development, presence and participation in The Wheel’s programmes regionally, to support the work of the National Rural Network and to support member engagement in The Wheel. Johnny has extensive experience on charity boards and holds a certificate in Charity Law, Trusteeship and Governance from the Law Society.
Ciara Lowe is the Membership Officer at The Wheel. She joined The Wheel in December 2021 and has worked in administration, on many of The Wheel's projects as a Projects Officer, and now deals with all things membership. Ciara has a BA in Social Science, an MA in Peace Conflict and is currently completing an MA in Psychotherapy.
