Navigating Conversations and Building Inclusive Narratives
Navigating Conversations and Building Inclusive Narratives
The Hope and Courage Collective is facilitating this half-day workshop on behalf of The Wheel. It is important for civil society to have a shared understanding of hate and extremism so we can effectively respond as a Collective.
This workshop will include two sessions:
- Understanding hate and division
- Framing and messaging; how to build an inclusive narrative to persuade away from hate.
Participants will come away understanding how to identify the playbook of hate and division and how it manifests online and in our society. Using H&CC ground breaking persuasive narrative research, participants will learn how to build a persuasive inclusive winning narrative and how to frame their message.
Hope and Courage Collective is a national civil society organisation that works with community groups, advocacy groups, trade unions, activists and academics to stop hate organising in our communities and workplaces. Find out more about their work here.
