Summary of the role:
LauraLynn have just embarked on a very ambitious fundraising strategy for the next 5 years. This is a very exciting time to join the fundraising team as we continue to invest and develop in Legacy and In Memory fundraising. Although LauraLynn is a ‘young’ charity, we believe that by generating engagement in legacies now, we’re securing the future of our work and enhancing our ability to achieve our long-term goals. We want to secure transformative Legacy gifts that will bring joy and peace of mind to the children and families that rely on our services.
Legacies presents a significant opportunity for LauraLynn given the projected increase in the transfer of intergenerational wealth in Ireland and the growing awareness and appreciation of how donors can contribute to a charity’s sustainable future.
The Legacy & In Memory Manager will work closely with the Head of Individual Giving and the wider fundraising team to develop and deliver LauraLynn’s Legacy and In Memory fundraising strategy.
Using a mix of fundraising channels including direct marketing, social media, events and cultivation through personal engagement with legators, this role will help build and maintain a robust pipeline of legacy and in memory prospects and supporters to ensure the long-term success of the programme.
