Young Social Innovators is a non-profit organisation that believes in the power of youth. Its vision is to empower, equip and inspire young people to change the world for good. Through its programmes, training and events, Young Social Innovators enables young people to grapple with difficult social issues, advocating reform and advancing change. Each year, circa 15,000 young people are supported to explore social and environmental issues that concern them and come up with a variety of responses to these. In this way, Young Social Innovators build social capital and help young people create a fairer and more caring Ireland connecting into a wider global movement for change.

Purpose of Role
Ignite Community Programme Support Executive (PSE) will support the Ignite Community Programme Lead and Finance and Programme Manager in the coordination and delivery of IC programme. They will act as the initial point of contact for the programme office, be responsible for meeting schedules, event management and associated requirements, as well as managing contact lists to support recruitment and promotion of the programme.
This role is essential to the smooth running and management of the programme and requires a self-starter with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and an ability to work to deadlines.

The Person
You will have experience in administration, project management and finance, dealing with stakeholders, partners, young people, youth sector organisations and community representatives. Experience or an active interest in education, youth development and working in the not-for-profit sector is an advantage
Key areas of Focus
Programme Administration
- Administrative support to Ignite Community team and partners.
- Administrative support for programme delivery, including meeting SEUPB requirements.
- Coordination and project management of IC programme systems and processes
- Collation of data, review and preparation of reports as requested.
- Supporting the Programme Lead in maintaining positive relationships with current stakeholders and partners.
- Manage programme meeting schedules, preparation of papers and recording minutes.
- Communicating all updates and reporting amendments to the wider IC programme team and partners
- Update risk register and programme issues folder.
- Assist the Finance and Programme Manager with financial reporting and updating information on SEUPB JEMS system.
- Assist in the creation of a calendar of activity and milestones for the programmes
- Book accommodation, venues and refreshments for meetings and training as required
- Support operational delivery of offerings, including coordination of virtual events.
- Maintain and update Ignite Community Google Drive folders and partnership platform with updated and new content for delivery of the Ignite Community programme.
- Coordinate procurement processes for goods and services required for programme implementation
Systems & Technology
- Administration support to the various IT systems including but not limited to Google Suite, Microsoft Office.
- Troubleshooting with online components around online systems for programmes
- Data collation and report generation
Programme Promotion and Events Management
- Support the Communications and Marketing Manager in the development of programme communications strategy and implementation of key promotional tasks.
- Support the wider programme team and partners in setting up programme events (i.e. community showcase events).
- Support the delivery of showcase events, including locating and managing venue hire and associated requirements
Other Duties
- Contribute with the programme team to the overall strategic direction, management, and growth of the regions and wider organisation.
- Ad hoc duties as required, in line with the purpose of the role.
Person Specification (Essential)
- Evidence of previous experience project administration and management.
- Evidence of excellent personal management, motivation, and working on your own (remote working).
- Ability and evidence of building relationships (internally and externally) and confident communicator.
- Strong reporting skills and evidence of an ability to meet deadlines.
- Relevant non-profit business planning or operational experience.
- Strong commitment to realising a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient world.
- Strong creative and entrepreneurial interests and skills.
- Highly curious and creative.
- Clean UK/IRL driving license and access to a car for work purposes.
Person Specification (Desirable)
- Evidence of previous experience of working on EU programmes and reporting systems.
- Youth work qualifications and established track record of working with young people.
