Working Hours: part-time with further full-time engagement based on the demand

Compensation: TBD depending on the level of engagement

Reports to: CEO

Objectives of the role: Are you an experienced business manager looking to join a small but dynamic team that works hard to deliver its ambitions? This role will involve you providing support to the CEO in the identification of opportunities, development, and submission of proposals, and managing the bid/tender processes from scoping through to implementation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gain a full understanding of all areas of the business to enable post-holder to identify and develop new opportunities.
  • To undertake a market analysis to identify opportunities for growth, and to lead on the development of appropriate business products and services as agreed with the CEO.
  • Identify opportunities for service development through new funding streams, partnerships opportunities.
  • Develop Strategic plan and implementation timelines on new business opportunities
  • Lead on the management and preparation of all: funding bids, grants, tenders, business proposals.
  • Coordinate the implementation of agreed new projects with the responsible member of management team, and help to develop monitoring plans, and co-ordinating reporting arrangements.
  • Build relationships and partnerships and pursue funding avenues to realise new service activity in line with the company’s charitable objectives.
  • Support social media planning and execution, create visuals and power point presentation with the help of the team.
  • Plan and co-organize events, conferences with other team members.
  • Support operational workflow of the CEO, acting as a right hand of the CEO being part of Senior Management Team.

Requirements:

  • Possess a proven track record (2 to 3 years or more) of leading successful applications to grant makers and charitable trusts.
  • Have experience within charity sector in Ireland
  • Have experience in corporate fundraising and donor stewardship.
  • Have experience operating bid/proposal information systems, including commissioner portals and ability to utilise internal systems and data.
  • Have experience of a broad variety of business/fundraising opportunities relevant to the charitable sector.
  • Have proven experience of developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders to deliver tangible results.
  • Have project management and business operations experience
  • Ability to run social media and create appealing visuals and presentations

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of charity sector in Ireland BA Business Management, 
  • Business Operations and/or Project Management
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role at managerial level
  • Interest in the charitable sector and the delivery of accessible psychotherapy services in the community
