Rethink Ireland is recruiting for a Senior Marketing Executive - 1 Year Fixed Term (Full/ Part Time)

From headlines to hashtags, you’ll drive our marketing across every channel, creating scroll-stopping content, building buzz, and helping us reach our engagement and fundraising goals.

Contract:      1 Year Fixed Term Contract - Full Time or Part Time 

Based:          Dublin 

Benefits:       23 days Annual Leave. 8% employer pension contribution following successful  

                          completion of probation 

                      Hybrid (With the opportunity to work from home & flexible working) 

Salary:          €35,000 -  €39,000 per annum (Full time rate) based upon experience 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the Senior Marketing Communications Executive will carry significant responsibility for PR and marketing and will coordinate and implement our marketing communications activities across all channels, both online and offline. As part of the overall business and marketing team, you will play a key role in the achievement of our fundraising targets and strategic objectives.  

This role is available either full-time or part-time, due to the availability and preference of the successful candidate(s). 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Contribute to and drive Rethink Ireland’s marketing strategy for 2024-2026 
  • Communication Excellence: Employ your exceptional writing skills to craft reports, position papers, speeches, social media content and other materials that clearly convey our mission and vision. 
  • Masterfully manage various communication channels, including social media platforms, website and more, ensuring our message is consistent and impactful. 
  • Communications Planning: Collaborate with donors and stakeholders to create and implement comprehensive communications plans for each fund, encompassing events, PR, social media, and branded collateral. 
  • Content & Storytelling: Create engaging, mission-driven content for diverse digital platforms through written, photo and video formats. 
  • Brand Strategy: working in close collaboration with the marketing team, you will input into and be responsible for implementing a significant brand awareness campaign.  
  • Problem Solving: You will need to be proactive to prevent issues from arising, but equally skilled at solving them.    
  • Lead Generation: A strong understanding of lead generation and the effective strategies and plans needed to convert leads will enable you to contribute effectively to the wider business development team.  
  • Tech Proficiency: Be well-versed in MarTech and analytical tools that leverage technology to enhance marketing and communication efforts. Project management tools like Asana, Monday or Jira, Buffer/Later/SproutSocial or similar content management platforms. Proficient in Canva or Adobe or InDesign. 
  • Other duties as assigned

You may come from the non-profit or private sector but you will have worked in a fast-paced environment that required creativity, laughter, and a ruthless ability to meet deadlines.  

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Third-level qualification at Bachelor’s level OR the equivalent level of experience 
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a marketing OR communications role 
  • Proven excellence in verbal & written communications in English – the ability to write effectively and persuasively is a must 
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills, while being able to keep up with stakeholders’ expectations and meet tight deadlines.  
  • Self starter - Proven ability to pick up a project and run with it. 
  • Good working knowledge of Digital marketing, particularly social media and digital channel management.  
  • Experience in Canva, InDesign, or other design platforms

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Experience in PR and event management is a huge advantage 
  • Experience using Salesforce, Jira, Monday, Asana or any other project management tools would be advantageous 
  • Working knowledge of AI and its ethical use in marketing.
