SEXUAL HEALTH EDUCATION & PREVENTION ROLE(S)

Sexual Health West is seeking a dynamic, skilled and energetic person to join the WISER Sexual Health Education team. We are an HSE funded charity, based in the West of Ireland, working in the area of HIV and sexual health - our offices are located in Galway City. We provide support to people living with HIV, and we also deliver extensive Sexual Health Education through our WISER (West of Ireland Sexuality Education Resource) Programmes.

We are looking to appoint a full time permanent Sexual Health Educator to work with the WISER team to develop and deliver appropriate sexual health education programmes, workshops and seminars within schools, youth/college services, and in the wider community. We are also looking to appoint a four day week maternity cover Sexual Health Educator position from January 2025 for a minimum of six months.

We would consider a full-time appointment or part time positions. The ideal applicant would have a relevant third level qualification, skills and experience in the field of Sexual Health, or in a related Health/Education area, and proficiency in group facilitation.

Full clean driving licence and own transport are essential for this role.

Pay Scale €30,000-€40,000 for full time post.
