Calling Social Enterprises Working on Financial Resilience and the Just Transition
Royal London Ireland are relaunching their Changemakers programme, which supports social enterprises who are working to build people’s financial resilience and who are helping everyone in society move fairly to a more sustainable world.
This initiative is a part of asocial innovation programme that, since 2020, has been supporting social enterprises across the UK and Ireland who are developing innovative solutions to society’s challenges. It supports social enterprises who are working to build people’s financial resilience and who are helping everyone in society move fairly to a more sustainable world.
The support available to successful applicants to the Changemakers programme includes:
- 2 years of mentoring and support – including expert consultancy and learning sessions with other social entrepreneurs in the same sector.
- Grants and funding – of up to €24,000 over two years to support business development and help social enterprises to scale and grow.
Royal London Ireland is now recruiting for their next cohort of Changemakers, offering funding and support to social enterprises that focus on the company’s two purpose outcome areas of:
- Building Financial Resilience (i.e. supporting vulnerable people experiencing ‘life shocks’ or addressing cost-of-living issues such as energy poverty, etc.)
- The Just Transition (i.e. helping everybody in Irish society move fairly to a sustainable world).
Social enterprises based in Ireland who wish to apply for the Changemakers programme – and whose organisations address the core programme themes of Financial Resilience or the Just Transition – should complete the Expression of Interest form via this link before the closing date of Monday, 25 March 2024.
