Bookings open for ABLE brief intervention training in Dublin
Ag Eisteacht is taking bookings for its 3-Day ABLE brief intervention course at the Wisdom Centre in Dublin on 28th September and 12th & 13th October. The course will be run in-person, subject to guidelines.
The charity warmly invites practitioners in community or voluntary roles in healthcare, social care and the justice sector to join them in this welcoming space.
This is an opportunity to develop your understanding of how quality relationships in practice lead to improved health and wellbeing outcomes.
Ag Eisteacht’s evidenced informed ABLE (Adopt a relational approach, Build & Boundary, Listen and Empower & End) aims to strengthen your capacity to build supportive relationships in practice by responding in a sensitive and focussed way when someone turns to you for help.
The course content includes insights from the fields of relationship theory, infant mental health, childhood development and much more.
The ABLE model also gives you a framework to follow during an intervention so that you can manage your time and boundaries for your own health and wellbeing.
This course is co-facilitated by two licensed Ag Eisteacht trainers and provides 16.5 CPD learning hours. It also includes a follow-up Relationships in Practice refresher session to embed the learning into your practice.
