IDEA Annual Conference 2022: The Future of Global Citizenship: educating for a changing world!
The Irish Development Education Association’s Annual Conference 2022 will take place on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 June on the theme The Future of Global Citizenship: educating for a changing world! Day 1 will take place in the Ashling Hotel*, Dublin 8, and Day 2 will be a day of online workshops.
Speakers include:
- Dr. Peter T. Coleman, Professor of Psychology and Education at Columbia University, and co-executive director of Columbia University’s Advanced Consortium on Cooperation, Conflict, and Complexity
- Dr Ebun Joseph, Director Institute of Antiracism and Black Studies, Race Relations Consultant, and Lecturer & Module Coordinator Black Studies and Critical Race Perspectives in Education, UCD
- Mamobo Ogoro, Founder of Gorm Media
- Ikal Ang'elei, Environmental Activist & Goldman Environmental Prize Awardee
- Dr Audrey Bryan, Associate Professor of Sociology in the School of Human Development, Dublin City University
- Bobby McCormack, co-founder and CEO of Development Perspectives.
