Remote Learning: Mental Health Awareness in the Workplace

Posted on 4 Nov 2021

As Ireland begins to recognise the scale of the mental health crisis now emerging among workers following the prolonged period of home working and isolation, this interactive workshop on ‘Mental Health Awareness in the Workplace’ aims to promote positive mental health and self-care which has benefits for all. Delivered by a psychiatrist, the programme will enhance the skills of participants in supporting those who are experiencing a mental health difficulty. It also aims to strengthen participants’ confidence in having conversations in the workplace concerning mental health, while recognising the boundaries of their role. It will include advice on how and when to signpost colleagues to mental health professionals when their intervention is required.

Suitable for: All organisations that wish to promote positive mental health in their workplace. Especially beneficial to people leaders/managers, human resources, support workers, social care workers, addiction workers, those involved in family care, medical care and education,  and those who have professional experience dealing with this issue.

Dates: 25 and 26 November 2021

Times: 09.30 - 12.30 (CET-1) each day
