The Regulation of Lobbying Briefing and Update

Would you like to know more about lobbying regulation and hear about the latest updates? 

Then join us on 20 September at 10am to hear from representatives from the Lobbying Regulation Unit of the Standards In Public Office Commission, there will also be a valuable opportunity to ask questions. 

This session will be important for people and organisation involved in lobbying, campaigning and advocacy work to ensure they are informed of the regulation surrounding lobbying and the changes involved in The Regulation of Lobbying and Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Amendment) Act 2023 that took effect this year.

Meet Your Facilitator:

Colette Bennett BC headshot

Colette Bennett is The Wheel’s Director of Advocacy and Research, and has worked in senior advocacy and organisational development roles for 15 years. She has a Masters in Social Justice and Public Policy and is a member of the Royal Irish Academy Social Sciences Committee. She regularly lectures in universities and colleges across Ireland on social justice and public policy frameworks.
