Admin/Finance Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill our Admin/Finance Position.

About Us: Ronald McDonald House Charities Ireland is an independent charity that supports families whose children are seriously ill in hospital. We provide accommodation and a caring, supportive environment for families whose children are undergoing medical treatment at Children’s Health Ireland, Crumlin. Since we opened our doors in November 2004, we have provided accommodation, care, and support for more than 5,000+ families from all over Ireland.

Responsibilities:

Software Worklist:

  • Full control of AP and AR - Monthly (Sage 50 cloud accounts)
  • Bank receipts and Bank payments for all Bank accounts - Monthly Bank Reconciliations (Microsoft Teams)
  • Draw up Payments for Authorisation - Monthly and as needed (IBB, AIB Bank)
  • Analyse Charity Platforms monthly to Bank Receipts - Monthly (Analyse on Teams from Websites)
  • Charities VAT Compensation Scheme - Annually
  • Fastway and Stripe Reconciliations - Monthly
  • Year-end Duties - Annually (Dictated by Accountant/Auditors)
  • Assist in Radar preparation of Data for RMHC Global - Annually
  • CHY returns - Annually

Other Administrative Duties:

  • Liaising with Fundraising Team as needed
  • Liaising with House Management Team as needed
  • Attendance at Main Fundraising Events in the Year (Gala Ball, Annual Cycle, Annual Golf event)
  • Any Ad hoc requirements from CEO, CFO, and Board Chairperson

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Working knowledge of Sage 50 Cloud accounts an advantage but not essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office especially EXCEL, and Microsoft TEAMS
  • Experience in Charity an advantage but not necessary

Package:

  • Salary commensurate with experience but will be competitive
