Assessment Worker

The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a not-for-profit public service organisation dedicated to supporting children and families across the greater Dublin region. We offer a variety of therapeutic services and work closely with TUSLA Child and Family Agency in Dublin North, North City, East, and Dublin Mid Leinster.

We are currently seeking an Assessment Worker to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial Child Protection and Welfare assessments on behalf of Tusla using the Signs of Safety (SOS) framework. (Full training provided)
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to support families and children.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Social Work, Social Care).
  • Minimum of two years' experience working with children and families.
  • Familiarity with the SOS framework and experience in outcome evaluation and file-keeping software (e.g., Salesforce) are distinct advantages.
  • Full, valid driving licence.
