Part Funded by the Pobal Community Support Programme (CSP)

Answers to: General Manager

Hours: 18.5 hours per week exclusive of breaks

Annual Salary: €14,019 (€28,038 full-time equivalent).

The Baldoyle Community Hall is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic person to work as our Communications Officer.  The Role will create content to grow our online presence, managing our website, facebook and other online platforms.  We hope to develop some online resources such as training and promotion videos and podcasts in partnership with the groups that use the centre and training will be provided, if necessary, so that the candidate will be capable of creating these. 

This is an ideal role for someone newly qualified or returning to the work place who would like varied and interesting work in a happy and relaxed atmosphere, in the beautiful setting of the Baldoyle Estuary. The candidate will not be expected to be an expert in the areas listed as training will be provided where needed.

Requirements

Essential: Familiarity with numerous social media platforms, Good written English, Good with deadlines, Comfortable with computers and other electronic devices

Desired: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Communications, Administration, Word, Website development, Social Media, Video production, Graphic Design, Promotion, Public relations
