Digital Communications Specialist – ReCIPE Project

  • Hybrid working arrangement, with presence in our Dublin office as needed (successful applicant must be based in Ireland) 
  • 24 months fixed term contract 
  • Full time – 36 hours per week 
  • Salary: €30,500 - €33,674 per annum (pay band E)

The ReCIPE Project

Oxfam Ireland is embarking on its first phase of a bold digital strategy which requires increased capacity for the digital team to respond effectively to the growing opportunities and challenges; and to provide focused support to a flagship project for digital in programmes called ‘ReCIPE’ (Recentering the Civic Internet through Partner Engagement).

The Role

This is a pivotal digital communications role that will promote and enhance the visibility of ‘ReCIPE’ Oxfam Ireland’s flagship digital rights project, and also our focus area of Rights in a digital age. This role requires a creative and collaborative professional to develop and refine their skills in digital content creation and media communications, serving both domestic and international audiences. The successful candidate will be an integral part of Oxfam Ireland’s Programme Management Discuss Unit (PMU) for the ReCIPE project, the Digital team, and the institutional fundraising functions.

To be considered for the role, candidates should possess a range of skills and experience including:

  • Relevant experience in managing the delivery of effective digital engagement and visibility strategies.
  • Strong experience in developing, refining, and distributing content across various platforms including social media, websites, newsletters, webinars, and at live events. 
  • Demonstrable ability to build relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
