Group Coaching for Nonprofit Leaders - Spring 2025
Group Coaching for Nonprofit Leaders - Spring 2025
This is a unique opportunity to experience executive coaching in a group environment. It is facilitated by an experienced professional Executive Coach and in the company of a select group of your peers.
Why Attend?
This 5-session programme has been developed with nonprofit leaders in mind and will help you to:
- Increase your competence and confidence in handling the challenges of leadership and management
- Build your self-awareness about your role as a leader
- Learn by participating in coaching peers and working collaboratively. Develop a coaching approach, learning skills such as active listening and questioning skills to help others gain insight – valuable skills that can be used effectively in your normal working environment.
- Embed learning over a medium to long term period, rather than through a one-off experience.
- Develop a trusted network of peers who normally continue to share thinking long after the formal ‘end’ of the group work.
This programme is designed for leaders in the nonprofit sector. Leaders come in many forms, not just senior managers. If you are managing groups of people, large projects, or other challenging situations this programme is for you. There is an on-boarding process where you can discuss the programme in advance with the facilitator and make sure the programme fits your needs.
If you are interested in this group, please complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form and we will be in touch.

Testimonials
I am more confident that I have a clear plan and that I am managing my organisation well. I feel the coaching sessions helped me in relation to changes that I need to make within the organisation and has helped to create a framework in which I can manage my relationships with colleagues while also managing focusing on the work needed within the organisation. I thought the sessions were very well paced and very well structured. Everyone had an opportunity to talk and be heard.
I have learned that group coaching is a very good way to support people to develop their critical thinking and hear their own solutions and the solutions of others. Dr Niamh Sheridan, Togher Family Centre
Mary is a particularly skillful coach, she guided the sessions expertly and always brought us to an interesting place!! Three things I got from my sessions: "To 'hear my own voice', to value my contributions, to know when to seek advice" F. O'Leary , EIL Intercultural Learning
Participating in the group coaching sessions for non-profit leaders has positively impacted my work. I now understand that many organisations face similar organisational challenges and I’ve learned effective and healthy strategies to adopt when faced with these challenges in my own organisation. Seeking support and the importance of minding yourself throughout these processes were important learnings too. Chelsea Johnston, Support Services Manager, Drogheda Women’s & Children’s Refuge CLG
The sessions were structured in a way that allowed for flexibility and the methodology used for the discussions was also ideal. My experience has been beneficial and positive.
I can now implement learning's in my work, such as being more intentional in communication, understanding more about transitions and change and recognising how change is experienced by my team. Also importantly, taking time to care for the self. Melissa Ndlovu, Programme Manager, Trócaire
