Leadership Academy Breakfast Club!
When we look at leaders we admire its very easy to imagine they were always that successful, or influential or impactful, but many leaders have taken long and very indirect journeies to get to where they are now.
One aspect of Leadership that often gets overlooked is the idea of the constant upskilling that leaders need to do to navigate into the spaces they need to be. Between learning new skills, developing their thinking or even growing their network, upskilling is often the easiest and most accessible way to start on a leadership journey.
Today we will be talking to two amazing leaders who both credit their own personal upskilling journeys with helping them into their leadership roles today.
As an added bonus this event will be held in the beautiful Islamic Cultural Centre in Clonskeagh and they have kindly offered attendees access to a tour of the centre after the event.

Meet Your Facilitator:
Sharon Hughes is the Leadership Academy Manager in the Skills Team of The Wheel. Sharon has been involved in membership organisations for over 20 years. Before working for The Leadership Academy, she was C.E.O. of a nonprofit. Her background is managing member Events and Communications. Sharon is a qualified Coach, is a member of the Teaching Council of Ireland and is currently studying Psychology. She is low-key obsessed with Leadership.
