As the Tech Apprenticeship Placement Officer in FIT, you will be responsible for:
- Prospecting - Identifying and contacting potential employers who can offer suitable apprenticeship opportunities for our learners
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with employers and promoting the benefits of hiring an apprentice to new employers
- Matching learners with appropriate employers and facilitating the apprentice placement onboarding process.
- Negotiating the terms and conditions of the tech apprenticeship placements and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations
- Monitoring and evaluating the quality and impact of the tech apprenticeship placements on a regular basis.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant qualification or experience in IT, education, or business development or sales
- Experience in Sales or sales environment and knowledge of sales cycles will be beneficial along with professional telephone sales skills.
- Worked in or experience in Tech or IT related fields.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
You will be based in our Glasnevin office but with a hybrid arrangement available and will also travel to various locations to meet with employers and apprentices.
You will be part of a friendly and supportive team that is committed to delivering high-quality tech apprenticeship programmes.
Salary: €35,000 - €40,000 DOE per year

- Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid - Remote 3 days, 2 days based in Glasnevin, Co. Dublin but with some travel within Ireland to meet with employers and apprentices.
