Apply Now for EIL Explore 2019 - Funded Overseas Learning Opportunities
The EIL Explore programme supports participants with an interest in global issues to travel abroad for the purpose of volunteering, cultural immersion, or language education through a variety of awards.
This year Explore will sponsor 45 FUNDED overseas learning opportunities to applicants on a variety of issues/topics.
Under 18 awards:
- Japan Award x 1
- Ecuador Award x 1
- Vermont Awards x 6
- Secondary School in Europe x 4
- International Summer School x 2
Over 18 years:
- Cork Institute of Technology Award x 2
- Mexico Award x 1
- Access Student Award x 5
- Mature Student Award x 2
- NUIG ALIVE Award x 2
- Global Awareness Programme x 4
- Hong Kong Exchange (Foróige) x 10
These awards are targeted primarily at:
- People who under ordinary circumstances would not have the opportunity to travel abroad for social or financial reasons.
- People who are active volunteers in their own communities.
