Benefacts Survey to Gauge Impact of COVID-19 on Charities

Charities are  encouraged to complete a survey conducted by Benefacts to assess the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on the charity sector.  

Charities are experiencing huge pressures as a result of the pandemic – whether in terms of their access to funding, their ability to deliver for their service users or beneficiaries or their role as employers. 

The need for relevant, current evidence of these impacts will become even greater this year, with charities competing with other sectors for public recognition and State support. 

The findings will contribute to a special report on charities and COVID-19 to be published by Benefacts in April. 

This project is supported by The Wheel, Carmichael, Charities Institute Ireland, Children’s Rights Alliance, Dóchas, Irish Council for Social Housing, Irish Local Development Network.

The survey closes on 8 March and that deadline cannot be extended.
