Community Funding Now Available (Via Greencoat Renewables)
ChangeX, an Irish non-profit that helps to deliver community funds to individuals, groups and organisations around the world, is inviting applications for community funding.
Recently, Greencoat Renewables has made grants of up to €5,000 for projects within a 10km radius of An Cnoc, Gortahile, Killhills & Glencarbry Wind Farm available to local communities.
Applicants can receive funding to start projects such as GIY (Grow it yourself) or Walks & Talks, both excellent ways to continue supporting any previous community engagement initiatives. But individual funding can also be attained to address any of the following themes: Energy, Health & Wellbeing, Sports & Recreation, Culture & Heritage, Sustainability & Environment, and Education & Access.
The deadline for applications is 7 October 2021.
