National Disability Authority Research Promotion Scheme 2021-22 Now Open for Applications
The National Disability Authority Research Promotion Scheme 2021-22 is now open for applications.
The focus of research topics for this year is: Assistive Products and Consumer Products that support choice and control for Persons with Disabilities.
The National Disability Authority, subject to funding, operates a Research Promotion Scheme every two years. The purpose is to deliver pieces of quality new research on specific themes.
Proposals for research projects under the Scheme are open to research institutions, service providers, organisations of persons with disabilities and disability advocacy groups, and following assessment, those projects which are successful to be funded are identified. Sponsoring bodies are expected to provide for expert supervision and review of the research.
Closing date for receipt of applications is: 12 noon on 9 November 2021
