Online Survey Inviting Views on Identifying Skills & Competences Needs of Workers in the Community & Voluntary sector
The Wheel is delighted to announce the official launch of the baSE project’s online survey, focusing on the “Skills & Competences Needs of Workers in the Community and Voluntary sector.”
This survey aims to identify the essential skills and competences required for a successful green transition, digitalisation, and fostering inclusivity within the Community and Voluntary sector.
The primary objective of this survey is to gain valuable insights from workers in the Community and Voluntary sector regarding their skills and competences needs. These insights will serve as the foundation for developing tailored training programs, aligning with the ever-evolving demands of the green economy, digitalization, and inclusivity.
This survey marks the final step in a comprehensive process, preceded by in-depth research and a multi-stakeholder consultation. The baSE project has engaged with various stakeholders, including organisations from the community and voluntary sector, experts, and policymakers, to ensure a holistic understanding of the sector’s needs and challenges.
Participating in the survey is a meaningful opportunity for workers in the Community and Voluntary sector to have their voices heard and contribute to shaping the future of their industry. The survey is designed to be completed within a time frame of 10-15 minutes, respecting the participants’ valuable time.
By taking part in this survey, individuals will play an integral role in the transformative journey of our sector. Their insights will directly impact the development of tailored training initiatives that address the identified skills and competences gaps, enabling workers to thrive in the changing landscape of sustainability, digitalization, and inclusivity.

The survey will be running until 7 July 2023.
