Summit 2024: Member Call for Session Proposals
We are inviting members to submit proposals for hosting a parallel session at The Wheel’s Summit 2024 on 29 May in Croke Park. The theme of this year’s Summit is “Learning from the Past, Looking to the Future” and we are seeking proposals that broadly address this theme.
Each session should last approximately 1 hour, including at least 15 minutes for Q&A.
Structuring Your Idea
These questions should help guide your proposal:
- What is the issue or challenge the community, voluntary, charity, and social enterprise sector needs to address?
- What makes your idea important to the majority of the nonprofit sector?
- What would the world look like if we solved it?
- What best practice models can be demonstrated?

Selection of your Idea
Once received, we will review all proposals and shortlist those most suited to the theme of this year’s Summit.
If your idea is shortlisted, please note the following:
- A member of the Summit coordinating team will be in touch to discuss further your idea
- Once the overall structure and format for the session is agreed with the Summit coordinating team, then we will liaise with you in the lead-up to the Summit to ensure successful delivery of that session
- Successful applicants will be asked to submit their picture and a short biography by Friday 22 March.
The deadline to submit your proposal is Thursday 29 February 2024.
